Marjorie Oppenheim Dupee, 96, passed away in Reno, Nevada on April 19, 2015. Marjorie was born on January 24, 1919 in Lovelock, Nevada to Jim and Lottie (Dave) Hunter. She attended grade school in Lovelock and then went to Stewart Indian School where she graduated from. Marjorie went to live in Reno where she attended nursing school. She worked in different hospitals in Reno as part of her training. Moving back to Lovelock she worked for many years as an LPN at Pershing General Hospital, retiring after many years of nursing. Marjorie was an avid gardener, which she enjoyed for many years, her special love was the company of her many cats and dogs. She had a special love for animals and took in many strays over her years. Preceded in death by her parents; 3 sons, Gordon George; Rodney George and Randal Cushman. Marjorie is survived by her children, Darlene George Byrd of Fallon; Colleen Page of Reno and Myron George of Keizer, Oregon; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Visitation will be on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 12 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Lovelock, NV. with services to be at 1:00 PM. Burial to follow at Lone Mountain Cemetery.
