Lyon County Republican Central Committee is sponsoring its Show and Shine car show on Saturday, May 16, on Silver Stage High School’s baseball field.
The event includes raffles each day, and food and drink concessions by Silver Stage Nighthawk Booster Club will be available.
Registration is from 8 to 10 a.m. Peer judging will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with an awards ceremony following judging. Prizes for first and second places in each class will be given.
Entry costs $30 for anyone who registers before May 9 and $35 at the event. The fees include T-shirts, dash plaques and more.
