A political comedian who writes columns, books and radio and television commentaries is bringing a comedic tribute about the joys, achievements and frustrations of the baby boomer generation to the Carson Nugget.

Will Durst is headlining Carson Nugget’s comedy venue with an 85-minute monologue titled “BoomeRaging — From LSD to OMG” on Friday, May 15.

Durst, the author of three books, is also an actor and voice-over artist. His show may contain adult content; audience members must be 21 or older.

Tickets cost $15 in advance and $18 at the event. Online service fees apply.

The Carson Nugget is also hosting Kirby St. Romain, of Showtime Comedy and the Nashville Network fame, on Friday, May 22.

Kirby St. Romain, who headlines on major cruise lines, performs impressions accompanied with guitar. He starred in “Country Fever,” a show that ran four years in Las Vegas.

Tickets cost $13 in advance and $15 on the day of the show.

Doors for both shows open at 6:45 p.m., with performances following at 7:30 p.m.
