Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man and woman arrested on suspicion of child endangerment

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

MONDAY

At 8:10 a.m., John Gelien, 29, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony failure to stop at the scene of an accident involving injury or death. Bail was set at $50,000.

At 11:30 a.m., Keith Ramm, 43, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony child endangerment, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana less than one ounce, and ex-felon failed to register after deputies responded to a child welfare check at the 1300 block of Rand Avenue. At the same incident, Desarae Ramm, 30, of Carson City was also arrested on suspicion of felony child endangerment and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bail for Keith Ramm was set at $4,650 and bail for Desarae Ramm was set for $3,500.

At 11:06 p.m., a 22-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of contributory neglect of a minor after deputies responded to reports of two males spray painting an electric box. Bail was set at $5,000.

At 11:22 p.m., a 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of graffiti and violation of a suspended sentence after deputies responded to reports of two males spray painting areas around the Roop Street Quik Stop. Bail was set at $5,300.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
