Registration is underway for the 21st Gourmand Golf Scramble, a tournament hosted by the Cracker Box, Café at Adele’s and Js’ Old Town Bistro that benefits the Carson City Community Counseling Center.

This year’s event takes place on Sunday, May 31, on the Eagle Valley West Course.

Registration is $150 and includes breakfast, a gin fizz, lunch, gourmet treats along the course, and a tee prize. All skill levels are encouraged to play. This year’s prizes include restaurant gift certificates, golf at several area courses, VIP tickets to see Chicago and America at the BR Cohn Charity Music Festival in Sonoma and a weekend stay at the Coeur D’Alene Resort in North Idaho.

Registration forms can be picked up at the Cracker Box, Café at Adele’s, Js’ Old Town Bistro in Dayton and Eagle Valley Golf Course.

The Community Counseling Center serves residents of Carson City, as well as Douglas, Washoe and Lyon counties who are battling with addiction regardless of a person’s ability to pay. The nonprofit center provides a variety of services and treatments for both individuals and their families.
