Kelli Anne Nilsson drifted peacefully into the hands of God on May 1, 2015 where love knows no limits and all is well. Born in Bridgeport, CA, Kelli moved to Washoe Valley with her family, at age 11. She attended Carson High School and became a hair dresser in Reno for almost 30 years. Kelli’s heart was as big as the ocean that she loved and it was her heart’s desire to help brighten someone’s day with her magnetic energy. She always wanted to help and while working as lifeguard at Bower’s Mansion, she saved a small child who had fallen into the pool. She may not have given herself much credit for that, but that child’s family always will. Kelli remains in the hearts of her children, Karli, Kelsi & Kaleb Nilsson, her parents, John & Pam Murphey, her sisters, Kym Maehl & Keri Sheerin, and her grandmother, Barbara Murphey, along with all her family & friends who were touched by her loving heart. We will be celebrating Kelli at Bower’s Mansion on Saturday, May 9, 2015 at 1:00pm. Please join us.
