The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office is coordinating its 9th Annual Shop with a Sheriff event, scheduled to take place in December at the Fernley Walmart.
Organizers are hoping to raise at least $10,000 or more from local businesses and community members. All donations go to underprivileged children.
To make a donation of any amount or sponsor one or more children for $100 each, contact Deputy Redmond at 775-246-6200 or 775-577-5023 or jredmond@lyon-county.org.
Tax-deductible donations are due by Dec. 10. Checks can be made payable to Lyon County Sheriff’s Office with “Shop with a Sheriff” in the memo line. Mail donations to Attn: Brenda Farler, 911 Harvey Way, Yerington, NV 89447.
