The tables are set, the employers are ready and individuals looking for employment will be available to talk to many firms looking for help.

Co-sponsored by the Fallon Chamber of Commerce, Fallon Auto Mall and Right Away, representatives will talk to prospective employees from the Churchill County area on Friday from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at The Wok Banquet Hall, 257 S. Maine St.

“We have 22 tables set up for our employers,” said Natalie Parrish, executive director of the Chamber of Commerce. “And we should be expecting over 200 people.”

During the past two weeks, she has received numerous calls from people interested in the job fair and what they should bring. Parrish said Thursday individuals should bring copies of a neatly looking resume and do some research on businesses in which the applicant is interested.

“I cannot stress enough that applicants dress appropriately and present a professional approach to each interview,” she said.

Parrish said a good appearance means everything to prospective employers.

In addition to Fallon Auto Mall and Right Away, other employers at the fair include Churchill County, Small Business Development Center, Janess Business Center, Solomon’s Porch Counseling Center, Job Connect, Crystal Cleaners, Manpower, Mill’s Farm, Homestead, Banner Churchill Community Hospital, Stockman’s, the Nugget/Bonanza, Highland Manor, Fox Peak Cinema and the Churchill County School District.
