The Pirates won their first game of the season against the fellow Las Vegas team, the Mountain Lions.

Sept. 4

Hurricane 17, Moapa Valley 14

The Hurricane took this game from the Pirates with their passing game, with the only two Pirates touchdowns rushing by Nate Cox and RJ Hubert.

Sept. 11

Moapa Valley 34, Desert Pines 20, win by forfeit

The Pirates won by forfeit over Desert Pines, though the Jaguars were first on the board.

Sept. 18

Moapa Valley 56, Sunrise Mountain 13

RJ Hubert had two touchdowns this game with 51 rushing yards and 54 receiving.

Sept. 25

Moapa Valley 32, Legacy 21

The Pirates exceeded the Longhorns in passing, rushing, and receiving, 139 to 30, 280 to 221 and 139 to 30.

Oct. 2

This was the Pirates’ highest scoring game of their season thus far, maintaining a minimum two touchdown lead every quarter against the Dragons.

Moapa topped themselves in high scoring in this game against the Eagles, with two touchdowns to Nate Cox, two rushing by Hubert, and three by Sterling Simmons.

The Cowboys didn’t get on the board until the last quarter in this game against the Pirates. Hubert had five carries and one touchdown, Trystan Deal had nine carries and one touchdown, and Summons had 17 carries and one touchdown.
