Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Woman arrested on suspicion of battery on a peace officer

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

FRIDAY

At 8:11 p.m., a 24-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery-second offense and contempt of court near the 3300 block of Nye Lane. Bail was set at $8,000.

At 10:36 p.m., a 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of a robbery warrant, domestic battery warrant and violation of protection order after deputies initiated a consensual stop at the 5th Street Jackson’s Gas Station. Bail was set at $8,003.

SATURDAY

At 2:51 p.m., a 30-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence after deputies conducted a business check at the Bodine’s Casino. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 8:58 p.m., a 23-year-old Mound House woman was arrested on suspicion of battery on a peace officer after deputies and medics were dispatched to the Highway 50 Whiskey Tavern. The woman was transported to Carson-Tahoe Regional Medical Center where she became combative and spit at nurses and kicked deputies. Bail was set at $2,500.

SUNDAY

At 1:30 a.m., a 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery and disorderly conduct near the 200 block of Long Street. Bail was set at $3,150.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
