James Arthur Good of Carson City, NV passed away November 1, 2015 with his family by his side, following a long battle with Alzheimer’s. James grew up in a family of 16 children. He served in the U.S. Navy for 8 years aboard the USS Rochester and USS Hooper, and was a veteran of the Korean War. He was involved in coaching many youth baseball teams. He was an avid musician, and spent a large part of his life performing throughout the state of California. James found

success as a small business owner in the automotive industry. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 58 years Edith Good, his two children James Good Jr. (wife Susan Good) and Joyce Good Padgett, five grand daughters Lisa, Anna, Jaime, Kristen and Danielle, half sister Shirley Burroughs and numerous nieces & nephews. He was proceeded in death by his father James S. Good, Mother Elsie Pride and step father Harry Pride, Barbara Hannah, Donald Good, Betty Goularte, Richard Good as well as numerous half - step brothers and sisters. There will be a military service November 25th, 2015 at the Carson City Cemetery followed by an open house at the Good residence at 12:30. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Alzheimer’s Association.
