Patty Wegman passed away on September 29, 2015. She was 73 years old. She was born to Homer and Hazel Bierbaum in Willamina, Oregon on January 23, 1942. Patty graduated from Reno High School in 1960 and continued to cherish many friendships. Patty and her late husband Rick owned and operated The Turquoise Shop in Virginia City from 1982 until 1993. In January 2010 they moved to Carson City. Patty loved to travel up the Oregon coast to camp, crab, and walk on the beach with her family and friends. Patty had an amazing zest for life and was loved by so many. Patty loved her family and leaves behind her step-daughter Vicki Guyette, son Chris and his wife Alaina Jacobson, daughter Laura and her husband Greg Gardner, daughter Connie and her husband Tony Fondi, grandchildren Jeff, Chesney, Sean, Ashley, Kelly, Tony, Jenna, Jacob, sister Loretta and husband Jim Monaco, brother-in-law Dick Lamson, sister-in-law Dorothy Bolander and many nieces and nephews. Patty is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Rick, sisters Wilma Lamson and Kathy Haas. The family wishes to thank Dr. Tann and Dr. Chapman at Carson Tahoe Cardiology. A Gathering of Family and Friends will be held Saturday, October 3, 2015 at Fitzhenry’s Funeral Home on 3945 Fairview Drive, Carson City, NV 89701 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm. A family gathering will be held in Bandon, Oregon at a later time. Patty will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
