March 7, 1955: Carson Hot Springs reported sold

Sales of Carson Hot Springs by Mrs. Muriel Lewis of Carson City to Dr. Thomas Wyatt of Crystal Bay, Lake Tahoe, was reliably reported today.

Spokesmen state that Dr. Wyatt will enlarge the facilities, including possible construction of a hospital.

Richard L. Waters Sr., present operator of the springs under the lease, will continue as lessee until at least this summer, he said today, and “may be interested” in continuing to run the bar and restaurant after that time if suitable arrangements can be made.
