“Willow” Bill Goulardt is seeking the community’s help in checking lights on more than a thousand willow reindeer to be placed around Carson City, Gardnerville and Reno in his annual display, which he calls the nation’s largest art project.

More than 35,000 school children in the area helped make the reindeer. Willow Bill needs help lighting the deer from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Stewart Indian School in south Carson City.

Extra Christmas lights are also needed to change out lights that no longer work. For more information or directions, call Willow Bill at 775-842-3594.
