A fundraising effort is underway to help Nichole Millim, a 31-year-old Carson City mother battling Stage III lymphoma cancer.

Two charity concerts are planned to help pay for doctor’s appointments, procedures, medications and other bills. Organizers are hoping to raise $10,000.

Dusty Miles and the Crying Shame will perform at 9 p.m. Friday at Sassafras, 1500 Old Hot Springs Road. Trippin’ King Snakes will perform at 6 p.m. Sunday at the same location.

There will be raffles and a donation booth. A portion of all dinner and drink sales will be donated to Millim.
