Fallon improved to 8-0 in league play Friday night with a convincing win over Fernley, 33-6, at the Edward Arciniega Athletic Complex.

The Wave has one remaining D1-A game left, Thursday at Lowry.

The halftime score was 14-0 Fallon.

With 9:52 in the third quarter, Richardson hooked up with Connor Nelson for a 10-yard pass play and later with an 18-yard TD pass to Cameron Beyer for a 26-0 lead.

Fernley avoided the shutout with a touchdown in the fourth quarter on a 51-yard pass from Ren Arroyo to Kyle Throckmorton. The extra point was no good.

The Wave wrapped up the scoring with 5:32 left in the game as Richardson found Aaron Bitter for a 36-yard strike, and Reilly Williams’ extra point extended Fallon’s lead to 33-6.
