Burn season in Carson City is Oct. 31-Nov. 29

Residents of Carson City can burn weeds and yard debris from Oct. 31 through Nov. 29, according to the Carson City Fire Department.

Permits must be obtained at least 24 hours before conducting an open burn. Permits are available on a walk-in basis at all Carson City fire stations, or online at www.carson.org under the Fire Department, Open Burning page.
