The Carson Nugget will host a series of free outdoor concerts in its “Alatte Live” concert series at the historic Laxalt Plaza adjacent to the Nugget’s Alatte Coffee and Wine Bar, beginning Saturday, Sept. 5. Mo’z Motley Blues Band, who entertained during Taste of Downtown, opens the series Saturday.
The series will be held from 4 to 10 p.m. every Saturday. Concerts begin at 4 p.m. and the schedule is as follows: Sept. 5 — Mo’z Motley Blues Band, rock/funk/reggae; Sept. 12 — Mo Beach Band, classic rock/blues; Sept. 19 — Joe Grissino with Uncle Funcle, soft rock to funk; and Sept. 26 — Shannon Nicholls Project, pop/country/rock.
