Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

TUESDAY

At 8:13 a.m., a 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of school zone violation — 11-20 over, no valid driver’s license and two counts of failure to appear after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Fairview and Stanton drives. Bail was set at $1,020.

At 10:29 a.m., Joseph Malone, 73, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony assault with a deadly weapon after deputies responded to reports of a man pulling a gun on another man near the 600 block of John Street. Bail was set at $20,000.

At 4:02 p.m., a 66-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the 7400 block of Schulz Drive. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 9:15 p.m., a 21-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near College Parkway. Bail was set at $3,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
