Jody Ostrander of Carson City joined Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute’s Class of 2019. More than 1,400 freshmen joined the Rensselaer community on Aug. 31 with the first day of classes. They hail from 46 states, the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, and from other countries.
The Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute is America’s oldest technological research university.
