Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of prohibited person in possession of a firearm, grand larceny, drug charges

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

THURSDAY

At 8:30 a.m., Laurie Harris, 50, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance after initiating a consensual stop near College Parkway and Lompa Lane. Bail was set at $2,500.

At 7:50 p.m., Geoffrey Walker, 34, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony ex-felon in possession of a firearm, felony discharge a firearm into an occupied structure, ex-felon failed to register and discharging a firearm within city limits after deputies responded to reports of a bullet nearly hitting a couple near the 3300 block of S. Carson Street. Bail was set at $40,650.

At 10:45 p.m., Michael Delucchi, 35, of Fallon was arrested on suspicion of two counts of felony prohibited person in possession of a firearm, felony grand larceny warrant, possession of an ounce or less of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and head lamps required after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Stanton and Woodside drives. Due to Delucchi’s known gang and weapons ties, deputies conducted a high risk stop on the vehicle. Bail was set at $46,425.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
