Alumni notebook: How Carson City area athletes are doing at next level

BASEBALL

Jace Zampirro, Carson, Feather River: Pitched six innings against Lassen to get first win of the season. Is 1-1 with 6.10 ERA.

Adam Whitt, Carson, Astros: Has allowed six earned runs in 2.1 innings at Quad Cities.

Colby Blueberg, Carson, Padres: Has two saves in his first two appearances for Lake Elsinore.

Luke Maher, Carson, Sterling College: Drove in two runs in the second game of a doubleheader against Bethany. Hitting .426 with eight homers and 29 RBI.

Brock Pradere, Carson, Western Oregon: Went 3-for-10 in 4 games last week. Hitting .191 for season.

Rory Petersen, William Jessup: Redshirting this season.

Chase Blueberg, Carson, Mesa College: No action last week.

Conner Oliver, Dayton, Minot State: Went 4-for-5 with two RBI last week. Allowed one earned run in 4.2 innings. Hitting .339 and 0-1 with a 8.76 ERA.

Nick Selmi, Dayton, Minot State: Allowed five runs in 1/3 of an inning in two appearances last week. 0-0, 24.16 ERA.

Nick Domitrovich, Carson, Sterling College: Had a couple of two-hit games last week. Hitting .348 with 21 RBI.

SOFTBALL

Christa McGahuey, Carson, University of Detroit-Mercy: Went 1-for-6 with a 3-run HR last week. Hitting .213 and 0-8 in the circle.

Danielle Morrow, Carson, Doane College: Went 6-for-12 with 2 homers last week. Hitting .299 for season.

Jennifer Purcell, Carson, UNR: Went 3-for-7 last week against Niagra. including a 3-run HR. Hitting .404 for the season.

Makayla Shadle, Dayton, Utah Valley University: Pitched 3 innings last week, allowing three earned runs. Is 1-3 with 5.63 ERA. TRACK

Josh Koch, Dayton, Concordia: Was second in shot at 53-9 and PRd in the discus at 163-0 1/2 last weekend.

Corey Reid, Carson, Azusa-Pacific: No heighted in high jump last week, according to school website.

Nathaneal Williams, S. Lutheran, Colorado Mines: Didn’t compete last week.

Dallon Mendoza, Dayton, George Fox: Placed 8th in 400 (51.5) at Rich Allen Classic, and ran leg on second place relay team.

Becky Grabow, S. Lutheran, UOP: No action last week.

RODEO

Caden Lehman, Carson, West Valleys JC,: Will compete this weekend at Cal-Poly.
