The Carson Lodge No. 1 of Free and Accepted Masons is hosting the second annual Masons Charity Poker Tournament on Saturday, April 23 at Silver Oak Golf Club. All proceeds from the event will benefit Masonic youth organizations: Carson High School scholarships, Rainbow Girls and the preservation fund of the original V&T Railroad Depot.

This charity poker tournament is open to the public. There will be a full-course dinner served before the poker tournament, raffles throughout the evening and a silent auction. The dinner will begin at 5 p.m., with poker starting at 6:30. Dinner tickets are $25 and Poker/Dinner tickets are $60. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third place. Silent auction items, donated by local businesses, include overnight packages, decorative artwork, gift baskets, golf packages, neon signs and a custom fire pit. The raffle will offer the chance to win gift cards, dinners and gift baskets. Donations of Raffle prizes and silent auction items are being accepted.

For tickets and more information, call Scott Moreland at 775-233-2611 or 775-885-8186.
