Livestock show begins Thursday

The annual Churchill County Junior Livestock show begins Thursday and runs through Saturday at the fairgrounds.

Saturday’s public sale/auction is set for 1 p.m.

Local 4-H and FFA members will exhibit their beef, sheep, swine, goats, rabbits and poultry breeding and market project animals.

In late March, members from the 4-H and FFA walked the town to urge support for the annual show. Students included Dawson McKnight, Jayla McKnight, Nicole Nelson, Whatt Hatch, Thayne Hatch, Caden McKnight, Kenadee McKnight, Addison Sandberg, Colton Hoffmann, Matt Ernst, Kayce Mulder, Madeline Robbins, Allyson Fulk, Keira Weisenberg, Dusty de Golyer, Marilee Golden, Riley Urena, McKinley Urena, Zane Bogdanowicz, Stacie Bogdanowicz, Case Cornmesser, Macady Bogdanowicz, Marie Lawson, Reillie Daniels, Franny Mori, Kaitlynn Hoffmann, Jenna Bradley, Alain Barrera, McKay Winder, Jacob Sorensen, Luke Sorensen, Tiffany Sorensen, Bradley Sorensen and Eric Sorensen.
