Lois M. Brady-Long, 63, a resident of Carson City for 37 years, passed away in her home on July 27, 2016.

Lois retired from the Nevada Highway Patrol as a Management Analyst II in March of 2011. Lois was very active in Carson City’s Proscenium Players as well as other theatre companies’ productions as an actress, director and patron for many decades. Lois will be remembered by her outgoing personality, intelligence and sense of humor. She could sing the blues, whip up a mean Cajun Jambalaya or chicken enchiladas, and nobody did Christmas like Lois. And it was a good life to be one of her beloved pets.

Lois is preceded in death by her husband Michael Long and her mother Lois Brady. She is survived by her many friends and adopted family members. A memorial service will be held for Lois on Sunday, August 28th, 2016 at the Brewery Arts Center, 449 King Street in Carson City.
