Toastmasters International holds meetings in Lake Tahoe area

Anyone 18 and older is invited to participate in Toastmasters International’s self-paced communication and leadership programs.

Truckee Talkers Club meets from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesdays at the Truckee-Donner PUD Boardroom, 11570 Donner Pass Road, Truckee, Calif.

Jibboom Street Club meets from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Wednesdays at the Truckee Airport Community Room, 10356 Truckee Airport Road, Truckee, Calif.

Blue Tahoe Club meets from 7:15 to 8:15 a.m. Fridays at the Tahoe Community Art Center, 380 N. Lake Blvd., Tahoe City, Calif.

Tahoe Toasted Nuts meets from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month at the Donald W. Reynolds Community Non-Profit Center (Parasol) meeting room, 948 Incline Way, Incline Village.

Toastmasters International clubs offer a friendly, supportive and enjoyable environment in which members improve their communication and leadership skills, resulting in greater self-confidence and personal growth.
