Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Woman arrested on battery

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

WEDNESDAY

At 11:17 a.m., a 58-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies responded to reports of a subject possibly under the influence of narcotics near the Rand Avenue Motel.

At 1:28 p.m., a 32-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of contempt of court after deputies responded to reports of an intoxicated subject near Highway 50 and Deer Run Road. Bail was set at $250.

At 2:35 p.m., a 27-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of two counts of failure to appear after deputies initiated a consensual stop near the 1200 block of 5th Street. Bail was set at $1,675.

At 7:31 p.m., a 33-year-old Lake Tahoe woman was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny after deputies responded to reports of a woman taking movies from a business near the 700 block of Old Clear Creek Road. Bail was set at $250.

At 10:24 p.m., a 32-year-old Gardnerville woman was arrested on suspicion of battery after deputies responded to reports of a fight at the Carson Street Bodine’s Casino. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 11:30 p.m., a 35-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a restraining order, driving the wrong way down a one way road and license suspended after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Telegraph and Stewart Streets. Bail was set at $1,540.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
