The following cases were heard in the Tenth Judicial District Court before Judge Thomas Stockard.

Jason Lee Enox pleaded not guilty to eight counts of trafficking 14-28 grams of controlled substances, a Category B Felony; possession of a schedule 1 or 2 controlled substance for purpose of sale (third or subsequent offense), a Category B Felony; three counts of possession of a controlled substance (third or subsequent offense), both a Category D Felony; one count of manufacture, importation, possession or use of a dangerous weapon or silencer, a Gross Misdemeanor; one count of an ex-felon possession an electric stun device, a Category B Felony; and one count of habitual criminal with three prior felonies, a Category A Felony.

For the first five counts, Enox faces two to 15 years in the Nevada State Prison and a fine up to $100,000, three to 15 years in the Nevada State Prison and a fine up to $20,000, and three sentences of one to four years in the Nevada State Prison and a fine up to $5,000, for counts three to five respectively.

For counts six and seven, the Fallon man faces 364 days in the Churchill County Jail and a fine up to $2,000 and one to six years in the Nevada State Prison with a fine up to $5,000. Count eight, the habitual criminal charge, if applied carries three potential penalties including life in the Nevada State Prison without the possibility of parole, life in prison with the possibility of parole after 10 years, and 25 years in prison with the possibility of parole after 10 years.

Enox’s trials were set for April 5-7 and April 24-28 in 2017 with a status hearing on Nov. 15.

Joshua Ray Jackson pleaded guilty to possession of a controlled substance, a Category E Felony. Jackson faces one to four years in the Nevada State Prison and a fine up to $5,000. Sentencing is set for November.

Jeffery John Ingrao was sentenced to 19-48 months in the Nevada State Prison for possession of a controlled substance. Ingrao’s sentence was suspended for probation not to exceed five years with the conditions he obtain a Substance Abuse Evaluation, have no use or possession of drugs or alcohol and have a curfew imposed at the discretion of his parole officer. Ingrao was given credit for nine days time served.

Jerry Richard Brown pleaded guilty to two counts of lewdness with a child with his two granddaughters, a Category A Felony. Brown faces life in the Nevada State Prison as part of a mandatory prison sentence and would be registered as a sex offender under lifetime supervision. Sentencing is set for November.

Raymond Christopher Mitchell was sentenced to 12-34 months in the Nevada State Prison for committing to possession of a stolen motor vehicle, a Category D Felony. Mitchell was given credit for 100 days time served and was remanded into the custody of the sheriff.

Jazmine Jennifer Sherman was sentenced to 12-34 months in the Nevada State Prison for possession of a controlled substance, a Category E Felony. Sherman was given credit for 100 days time served and was remanded into the custody of the sheriff.

Marvin Michael Burns was found in violation of the terms of his probation, namely the condition of no use/possession of alcohol. Burns’ probation was reinstated with the conditions that he serve one to two days in the Churchill County Jail and have no use or possession of alcohol.
