Carson Lanes is hosting Bowling Blast Off, an annual celebration of bowling and back to school season with family friendly activities, food and music.
The event, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 27 outside Carson Lanes, will be filled with children’s activities, water slides, fire trucks, a car show and music. Attendees can see what the center offers and join an adult or junior bowling league.
There will be $1 bowling and $1 food and drink items in the restaurants inside the center.
The event also will celebrate the reopening of Genoa Candy & Coffee Shop, which is selling Lock N Load Java, coffee whose proceeds help support the Wounded Warrior Project. For every bag sold, a cup will be sent to a soldier in the field.
