NV Energy has reported a power outage near Eagle Valley Golf Course that’s affecting residents on the eastside of town.
As of 2:23 p.m., there were 2,704 residents who were affected by the power outage which NV Energy stated was caused by equipment failure. The power outage was reported at 1:36 p.m. and NV Energy expected power to be restored at 6 p.m.
As of 1:50 p.m. the stoplight at College Parkway/Fairview Drive and Highway 50 was also out.
