Fallon Police officers responded to two incidents within an hour of each other Tuesday night on Taylor Street between West Williams Avenue and B Street.

The first crash involved a Fallon man who put his SUV into driver rather than reverse. Capt. Ron Wenger said Danny Bolling, 44, had intended to back up his vehicle from a space at the Fallon Lodge; instead, he placed it in drive, and the SUV struck a concrete barrier and struck his wife, who was sitting in a chair. Wenger said Jennifer Wasson, 31, was taken to Banner Churchill Community Hospital. He does not have additional information on her condition.

Wenger said Bolling was charged with felony driving under the influence causing injury.

The second crash occurred two blocks north when Devlon Harrison, 25, of Fallon, had a medical emergency and lost cognizance, according to Wenger. Harrison crashed into another vehicle driven by Pamela Burton.

Paramedics took Harrison to Banner Churchill where he was treated and released. Wenger said Burton did not indicate having any injuries to officers.

Wenger said no charges are pending against Harrison.
