Man arrested on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance says Carson City Sheriff’s Office

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

FRIDAY

At 5:05 p.m., a 54-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of battery warrant after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 400 block of Corbett Street. Bail was set at $500.

At 8:34 p.m., a 34-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of three counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor after deputies responded to reports of a runaway near the 900 block of Woodside Drive. Bail was set at $1,500.

At 9:42 p.m., a 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of obstructing an officer after deputies responded to reports of a possible domestic battery near College Parkway. Bail was set at $300.

SATURDAY

At 2:20 a.m., a 36-year-old Sparks man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and basic speed after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Carson and Stewart streets. Bail was set at $1,050.

At 9:22 a.m., a 33-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery warrant and contempt of court warrant after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 400 block of Winnie Lane. Bail was set at $4,000.

At 10:34 a.m., a 47-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of two counts of contempt of court warrants after deputies conducted a warrant service near the 500 block of Jeanell Drive. Bail was set at $4,000.

SUNDAY

At 3:16 a.m., Jon Gargett, 56, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of contempt of court after deputies responded to reports of suspicious circumstances near the 3600 block of South Carson Street. Bail was set at $3,930.

At 9:31 a.m., a 40-year-old Long Beach, Calif., man was arrested on suspicion of revoked registration, suspended driver’s license and no proof of insurance after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 700 block of Carson Street. Bail was set at $1,250.

At 5:08 p.m., Jessica Campau, 19, of Dayton was arrested on suspicion of felony use of false identification to avoid prosecution and contempt of court after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Timberline Road and Paradise Street. Bail was set at $10,500.

At 9:24 p.m., a 47-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the 600 block of Pioche Street. Bail was set at $3,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
