The Storey County Community Library Reference Center changed its hours. Its location at 175 E. Carson St. in Virginia City is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. weekdays through March. Through the rest of the year it will be open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The location inside Mark Twain Community Center is open from 3 to 6 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Both locations offer story sessions from 3:30 to 4 p.m. Monday through Thursday.
Volunteers are sought to help at both locations. Stop by for an application, or call the library director, Sandra Delaski, at 775-847-0541.
The library is also forming a Friends of the Library Committee and a committee for a book club for students and adults. If you would like to participate, call 775-847-0541, or stop by to be put on the list.
The library offers technology training by appointment. Computers, printers, fax machines and copiers are available for public use.
