Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Two arrested on suspicion of domestic battery

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

THURSDAY

At 1:20 p.m., a 33-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of a failure to appear warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Arrowhead Drive and I-580. Bail was set at $315.

At 5:39 p.m., a 38-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near Harbin and 2nd streets. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 9:50 p.m., a 21-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana less than one ounce and failure to appear warrant after deputies responded to reports of a noise complaint for people yelling in the parking lot at Mark Twain Elementary. Bail was set at $2,600.

FRIDAY

At 12:40 a.m., a 48-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the 1500 block of Long Street. Bail was set at $3,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
