More than 35 employers and 15 resources will be on hand at a job fair — sponsored by Carson City Health and Human Services and the Chamber of Commerce — from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Friday in the gym of the Carson City Community Center. Veterans are being offered early admission at 1:30 p.m.
Employers attending the job fair represent the state and city, retail, gaming, staffing agencies, utility companies, home healthy, security and other industries. Resources include: Job Opportunities of Nevada, or JOIN, Carson City Library, United Latino Services, and Job Connect. Job seekers are asked to bring an updated résumé and, dress to be interviewed. They are asked to come prepared to fill out applications.
