Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on DUI following auto crash

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

THURSDAY

At 3:45 p.m., a 65-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-drugs and obstructing an officer after deputies responded to reports of an auto crash near the 1800 block of Carson Street. Bail was set at $1,300.

At 5:46 p.m., Michelle Howell-Bailey, 34, of Stagecoach, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 2000 block of William Street. At the same incident, a 33-year-old Reno man was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, no valid proof of insurance and expired registration. Bail for Bailey-Howell was set at $6,000 and bail for the man was set at $1,650.

At 7:37 p.m., Josh Lee, 40, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of violation of a suspended sentence after deputies responded to reports of a possible drug deal taking place near the 1800 block of Carson Street. Bail was set at $9,500.

FRIDAY

At 1:41 a.m., a 27-year-old Reno woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI, basic speed 11-15 over and no proof of insurance after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 2200 block of N. Carson Street.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
