Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man jailed in multiple burglaries of Fitness for 10

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

TUESDAY

At 9:41 a.m., a 25-year-old Carson City female was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery-first offense after deputies responded to reports of a violation of a protective order near the 100 block of Royal Drive. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 12:58 p.m. Kyle Brazil, 19, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, violation of extended temporary protection order, possession of drug paraphernalia, no valid driver’s license, suspended registration, and two counts of violation of suspended sentence after deputies responded to reports of a TPO violation near the 4100 block of Knoblock Drive. Deputies searched for Brazil and initiated a traffic stop near Kit Sierra Way and Sherman Lane. Bail was set at $10,650.

At 4:04 p.m., Paul Rentz, 31, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony ex-felon in possession of a firearm and ex-felon failed to register after deputies responded to reports of a suspicious person near the 1800 block of Hamilton Avenue. Bail was set at $20,150.

At 4:10 p.m., a 62-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of harassment and violation of court order after deputies responded to reports of a warrant subject walking around near the 1400 block of Saliman Road. Bail was set at $5,000.

At 11 p.m., Bradley Grove, 36, of Reno was arrested on suspicion of felony burglary-second offense, felony possession of a controlled substance, two counts of felony possession of a stolen credit card, two counts of felony vehicle burglary-second offense, two counts of felony fraudulent use of a credit card, obstructing, two counts of felony possession of a stolen vehicle warrant, two counts of possession of stolen property, contempt of court and driving with suspended license after deputies responded to reports to multiple burglaries at the Fairview Fitness for 10 between Jan. 2 through Jan. 12. Deputies located Grove at the Edmonds Drive Jackpot Casino, where he led deputies on a foot pursuit down Highway 50. At the same incident, Jessie Archuleta, 57, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance. Bail for Grove was set at $86,600 and bail for Archuleta was set at $2,500.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
