Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of preventing witness from reporting a crime

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

THURSDAY

At 12:51 a.m., Joseph Labranch, 33, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony preventing a witness from reporting a crime and domestic battery near the 900 block of Jackson Way. Bail was set at $8,000.

At 3:00 a.m., a 23-year-old Carson City woman was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense and basic speed after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Winnie Lane and Carson Street. Bail was set at $1,050.

At 8:30 a.m., a 32-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny, driving with a suspended license and two counts of failure to appear warrants after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 2100 block of Carriage Crest. Bail was set at $4,460.

At 7:20 p.m., a 36-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-first offense after deputies responded to reports of an accident at the Carson Street Burlington Coat Factory. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 9:37 p.m., Jennifer Harlow, 37, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony probation violation after deputies responded to reports of an intoxicated subject near the 300 block of Carson Meadows Drive. No bail was set.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
