Two days of live music, crafts, raffles, rides on military vehicles and plenty of chili are planned from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 9-10 at Glen Eagles, 3700 N. Carson St.
The International Chili Society’s High Sierra Regional Chili Cookoff on July 9 and Nevada Capital Chili Cookoff on July 10 offers cooks the chance to submit their chili for judgement.
The registration deadline is July 3. Crafters also can sign up to be featured at the event.
Proceeds go to Honor Flight, a nonprofit that takes veterans to Washington, D.C.
