Josephine (Boudreau) Cocking was born March 4, 1925 in Stockton, Utah to parents Frank and Frieda (Simon) Boudreau.


The family moved to Caliente, Nevada where Josephine attended Lincoln County schools and worked as a clerk for the Union Pacific Railroad.


Josephine later moved to Carson City, Nevada where she met her husband William Cocking. They were married at St. Theresa of Avila Catholic Church in 1949 and made their home in Carson City where she resided until her death July 4, 2016.


She was preceded in death by her husband, William, son Brendan and two grandsons, Brandon Cocking and Jason Holt.


Josephine is survived by sons, Chris (Sue) Cocking, Frank Boudreau, Martin (Christine) Cocking and daughter Laury (Lonnie) Holt as well as 9 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
