Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Woman arrested on suspicion of battery, larceny

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

MONDAY

At 2:10 p.m., a 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear warrant after deputies conducted a business check at the Market Street Dotty’s Casino. Bail was set at $815.

At 5:04 p.m., Robin Vasquez-Smith, 48, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony preventing a witness from calling 911, battery, petit larceny, destruction of property and violation of a suspended sentence after deputies responded to reports of an unwanted subject near the 1600 block of Stewart Street. Bail was set at $7,750.

TUESDAY

At 2:43 a.m., a 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of petit larceny and violation of a suspended sentence after deputies responded to reports of a stolen bicycle near the 1100 block of Long Street. Bail was set at $3,250.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
