Family thankful for help from Sen. Harry Reid and staff
Nevadans may or may not agree with Senator Harry Reid’s politics, but our family can attest to the fact that Senator Reid and his office represent Nevadans well when called upon.
Tom Baker, who worked in the political arena for many years and is a family friend of ours, contacted Senator Reid’s office on our behalf in January of this year to ask for assistance with the remaining processes to finish our five-and-a-half-year-long adoption.
Our family was traveling to Uganda during their election season, which is never an ideal time to travel to a third-world country. Yolanda Garcia, who works for Senator Reid, took our case and ran with it, doing everything in her power to get us home as quick and as safe as possible. Her assistance, backed by Senator Reid, brought us home after close to two months overseas.
Thank you, Yolanda Garcia and Senator Reid, for a job well done.
