March 2, 1926 ~ July 6, 2016

Ellie passed away at home, at the age of 90, in Carson City.

She was born March 2, 1926 in Sechelt, British Columbia, Canada to Ella Addison and Jonathan Wood.

She grew up and loved the Sunshine Coast, spending every summer at the beach with sisters and family.

She married the love of her life, Gus Crucil, in Sechelt, on March 2, 1944. They moved to southern California in 1961, and then moved to Carson City in 1975.

Ellie had several hobbies; learning to paint at the BAC was probably her favorite. She taught yoga and still did her crossword puzzles in pen.

Gus preceded her in death in 2008.

Ellie is survived by two sons, Mickey and Jeff (Lesley); three daughters, Avril Dexter, Holly (Lloyd) LeBlanc and Theresa Crucil (Stephen) McIntyre; 10 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. As well as her many friends at Quail Run, especially Diane and Audrey.

A memorial will be held in Sechelt, later this year, there is no local service.
