Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Two arrested on suspicion of meth trafficking

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

Carson City

FRIDAY

At 3:04 p.m., a 50-year-old transient woman was arrested on suspicion of a violation of a suspended sentence warrant after deputies responded to the 1800 block of N. Carson Street for a trespassing subject. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 5:39 p.m., a 58-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence after deputies conducted a consensual stop near the 1700 block of North Carson Street. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 7:25 p.m., a 45-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct and drunken pedestrian after deputies responded to reports of a man walking into traffic and yelling at vehicles near Roop and Corbett streets. Bail was set at $175.

At 7:35 p.m., a 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of a suspended sentence after deputies conducted a consensual stop near the 1100 block of Woodside Drive. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 8:28 p.m., Matthew Eastwood, 24, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony child neglect/endangerment, DUI and violation of a suspended sentence after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 1600 block of Airport Road. At the same incident, a 26-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct. Bail for Eastwood was set at $4,500 and bail for the 26-year-old was set at $150.

At 10:33 p.m., a 42-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of two counts of contempt of court after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Valley Road and Telegraph Street. Bail was set at $4,055.

At 11:07 p.m., a Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, failure to maintain a lane, obedience to traffic control device and open container after deputies initiated a traffic stop near William Street and Saliman Road. Bail was set at $1,180.

SATURDAY

At 1:01 a.m., a 19-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of minor consuming alcohol and obstruction after deputies responded to reports of a gang party near the 600 block of Hot Springs Road. At the same incident, a 20-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of minor consuming alcohol. Bail for the 19-year-old was set at $450 and bail for the 20-year-old was set at $150.

At 1:25 a.m., a 65-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of battery after deputies responded to reports of a man who punched a security officer at the Carson Street Nugget. Bail was set at $1,000.

At 3:20 p.m., Giberto Arellano, 26, and Rafael Oseguera, 31, both of Carson City were arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Tiger Drive and Hot Springs Road. Bail was set at $3,500 for both.

At 3:43 p.m., a 24-year-old Gardnerville man was arrested on suspicion of driver’s license suspended for failure to appear after deputies initiated a traffic stop near College Parkway and Imperial Way. Bail was set at $500.

At 3:56 p.m., a 52-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of open container, ex-felon failed to register, no valid driver’s license and impeding traffic after deputies responded to reports of a vehicle stopped in the roadway near North Carson Street and Hot Springs Road. Bail was set at $375.

At 4:44 p.m., Ashley Hicks, 23, a transient, was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and a Lyon County warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near the 400 block of Fairview Drive. At the same incident, Nicole Carrasco, 34, a transient was arrested on suspicion of felony parole and probation warrant, felony possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia and a 33-year-old Gardnerville man was arrested on suspicion of DUI-drugs, suspended driver’s license and no insurance. Bail for Hicks was set at $3,500, bail for Carrasco was set at $3,500 and bail for the 33-year-old was set at $2,100.

At 8:04 p.m., Gabriel Delgado, 35, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony DUI with substantial bodily harm warrant after deputies conducted a consensual stop near the 1700 block of Brown Street. Bail was set at $25,000.

At 11:24 p.m., a 28-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI and failure to maintain a lane after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Robinson and Minnesota Streets. Bail was set at $1,050.

At 11:40 p.m., a 37-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of less than one ounce of marijuana, surrendered registration and revoked driver’s license after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Nye Lane and North Carson Street. Bail was set at $2,150.

SUNDAY

At 12:15 a.m., Anthony Vannata, 26, of Sacramento, Calif., was arrested on suspicion of felony trafficking a controlled substance, felony selling/transporting/giving drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and basic speed 11-15 over after deputies received a tip about a shipment of methamphetamine coming into Carson City. At the same incident, Setrack Mouradian, 34, of Belmont, Calif., was arrested on suspicion of felony trafficking of a controlled substance, felony sales of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies obtained nearly 28 grams of methamphetamine from the suspects. Bail Vannata was set at $221,050 and bail for Mouradian was set at $221,000.

At 12:24 a.m., Brianna Perretta, 25, of Gardnerville was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a dangerous drug without a prescription, possession of drug paraphernalia and a DUI-drugs warrant after deputies initiated a traffic stop near 5th and Harbin Streets. Bail was set at $$6,500.

At 1:35 a.m., a 53-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of violation of bail conditions after deputies responded to reports of a domestic battery near the 6700 block of Saddlehorn Road. Bail was set at $3,000.

At 1:51 a.m., a Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of probation violation and violation of bail conditions after deputies responded to an intoxicated person at the Carson Street Casino Fandango. Bail was set at $6,000.

At 9:52 a.m., Penny Fuller, 39, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony uttering a forged instrument warrant after deputies conducted a warrant service near Clear Creek Avenue. Bail was set at $5,000.

At 2:43 a.m., a 27-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of disorderly conduct after deputies responded to reports of a fight at the Carson Street Jimmy G’s Cigar Bar. Bail was set at $150.

MONDAY

At 12:52 a.m., an 18-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of minor consuming alcohol after deputies responded to reports of initiated a traffic stop near the 3900 block of S. Carson Street. Bail was set at $150.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes.
