Carson City Sheriff’s Office: Man arrested on suspicion of three counts of destruction of property

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

MONDAY

At 10:56 a.m., a 32-year-old transient man was arrested on suspicion of failure to appear-traffic after deputies responded to reports of a suspicious subject near the 5th Street freeway. Bail was set at $215.

At 1:24 p.m., Dustin Manies, 36, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony possession of a controlled substance, three counts of destruction of property and contempt of court after deputies responded to reports of a man slashing tires at the Musser Street State Department parking lot. The suspect fled the area but was later apprehended by police of the Stewart Street parking garage. Bail was set at $4,330.

At 4:32 p.m., a 23-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of DUI, possession of drug paraphernalia and expired registration after deputies initiated a traffic stop near Williams and State Street. Bail was set at $2,025.

At 6:34 p.m., Bijhan Jazani, 35, of Carson City was arrested on suspicion of felony domestic battery with substantial bodily harm near the 900 block of Musser Street. Bail was set at $15,000.

At 8:15 p.m., a 62-year-old Carson City man was arrested on suspicion of domestic battery near the 2400 block of Lewis Drive. Bail was set at $3,000.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
