The following information applies to the period of June 13-19.

Epic Rides, a nationally known endurance bike ride, will be held in Carson City June 17-19. There will be significant impacts to traffic on Carson Street and west of downtown. Additional details on the event and location of the courses can be found at http://epicrides.com. More information will be printed in the Appeal later on this week.

Work will continue on the Downtown Corridor improvement project on Carson Street. For details regarding traffic impacts from the Downtown Carson Street project, refer to the Cone Zone in the Nevada Appeal, or go to www.carsonproud.com. These sources are updated weekly throughout the duration of the project.

Lane closures with flagger controlled traffic are planned from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the following locations due to utility/road work:

Center Drive south of Clear Creek Avenue near Topsy Lane on weekdays

Northridge Drive on Monday through Thursday

College Parkway westbound lane reduction between Airport Road and Otha Street on Monday through Wednesday

Road are expected affected at the following locations due to utility/road work. Detours will be in place:

Lompa Lane between Carmine Street and College Parkway from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday

Topsy Lane between Center Drive and U.S. 395 for all hours on Monday through Sunday; local traffic only

Race Track Road and Bigelow Drive south of Snyder Avenue for all hours on Monday through Sunday; local traffic only

Jeanell Drive between Winnie Lane and Michael Drive from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays

Anderson Street between Robinson and Caroline streets from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. weekdays

N. Nevada Street between Telegraph and Proctor streets

Division Street between Musser and King streets from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday

Northbound U.S. 395 between Clear Creek Avenue and Snyder Avenue will be reduced from three to two lanes until June 24.

Lane and ramp closures will take place on I-580 and U.S. 50 from 6 p.m. to 4 a.m. through June 14.

Extended paving sessions on I-580 in Washoe Valley are scheduled through the next few weekends and for weekend hours to avoid impacting weekday commute travel.
