Carson City voters will decide who will face off in November in the race for Mayor, as the top 2-vote getters advance.
Carson City Republicans also will pick between four candidates during the Assembly District 40 race. The winner of the race will advance to face an independent party candidate and a Democrat in November.
As early voting came to an end Friday evening, a total of 4,766 Carson residents had gone to the polls ahead of the election.
Polls close at 7 p.m. and we expect results shortly after.
