The series of every other Thursday evening mini-concerts in the Lariat Courtyard will continue throughout July and August. Mark and Friends will perform on July 14 and Aug. 11; American Crossroads will play on July 28 and the series will conclude with a performance by Money Back Guarantee on Aug. 25.

The events will be held from 5-8 p.m. and a different “crafty” cocktail, along with beer and wine, will be available for purchase in the Lariat Café. For more information contact CAC at 775-423-1440 or charts@phonewave.net

Negotiations have been wrapped up for the 2016-2017 performing arts season and, as usual CAC will be bringing a wide array of artists in to Fallon to perform over the course of the coming year.

The season will kick of with a performance by Cajun legends, Beausoleil avec Michael Doucet on August 20 followed by a show with rising Folk/Americana musicians, The T Sisters on Sept. 10 in conjunction with Tractors and Truffles.

October will showcase the talents of Las Migas, a talented quartet from Barcelona, who will perform a program of Flamenco and Mediterranean musics on Oct. 22. On Jan. 28, the acclaimed Jazz pianist, Bill Chalap will bring his trio to perform an evening of songs from the Great American Songbook.

Big Band Swing from Hawaii will be presented by Kahulanui on March 25 and French-American electroacoustic swing by Ginkgoa on April 22. Next up will be a one-woman theatrical production, “The Other Mozart” on May 20, followed by the free in-the-park concert of music from Haiti with Lakou Mizik.
