Cindy died peacefully in her sleep on February 26, 2016 at her home in Gardnerville, Nevada. She was born on March 12, 1945 to Leonard & Martha Clark in Rawlins, Wyoming. Cindy was the youngest of their two daughters. She spent her early years in Rawlins, Wyoming then moved to San Bernardino, California where she worked for Kaiser Permanente for thirty years. With a great love of animals, she had a successful breeding/showing business of quarter horses and warm bloods. Cindy and husband, Jeff Harris, moved to Gardnerville in 2001 where she raised Bouvier des Flandres and Norwich Terriers. Cindy was survived by her husband of 44 years, Jeff Harris of Gardnerville, Nevada and her three children, Marc Bennett of Gilberts, Illinois, Brycie Arruda of Peachtree City, Georgia and Amber Cronn of Reno, Nevada, and her nine grandchildren. A gathering of friends and family was held in her home in Gardnerville. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to Douglas County Animal Shelter in Gardnerville in Cindy’s name.
