Carson City Sheriff’s Log: Man arrested on suspicion of felony intimidating a police officer

The following people were booked into the Carson City Jail. All are considered innocent until proven guilty in court.

MONDAY

At 10:29 p.m., Paul Simpson, 34, was charged with felony intimidating a police officer after his arrest for trespassing at the Casino Fandango. According to the arrest report, he threatened the arresting officer while en route to the jail on trespassing, obstructing and disorderly conduct. Total bail in the case was set at $10,600.

TUESDAY

At 12:51 a.m., a Washoe Valley woman was charged with DUI-1st after a traffic stop on East William Street for failure to maintain a lane. She was ordered held in lieu of $1,050 bail.

The Nevada Appeal only names people arrested on suspicion of felonies and violent crimes. Carson City Secret Witness will pay up to $2,500 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of individuals committing crimes. Anyone with information is asked to call 775-322-4900.
